As promised here is the finished product complete with hedges, pot plants and paving. Now only 7 more to make Haha.

A work in progess

Here are some more pics from todays house"work". Not quite as the picture and still some work to do. This is the first time I have worked with fondant icing, and I must say it is easy to use and mold, as well as colour. You dont get the effects of the lights as well as in real life, but it will give an idea.

Tis the season

As promised in the last blog, here are a few pics of the beginnings of the Gingerbread house for this season. Of course so far this is the mock up, what it should look like and with the lights in. . More pictures to come once the house is made.

Christmas Orders?

So have taken 8 orders for Gingerbread Houses this Christmas (yes I know its October but one can never be too prepared). Making space in this small flat is complicated but doable (is that even a word)?
Planning on being quite inventive this year and putting lights into them, fairy lights not candles. So I shall post the first successful one on here for all to see, but here are a few I have done in previous years.

A New Venture

Yes that's right I am the Gingerbread House Lady. I make them for birthdays, parties and Christmas. They are all unique. They make a great present, or just as a centre-piece for the Christmas table.
